Liposomal Spermidine bottle on warm travertine beside capsules and sunflower seeds

About Liposomal Spermidine

Each capsule provides 20 mg of liposomal spermidine 3HCl, and each bottle holds 60 capsules. At one capsule a day, a bottle lasts about 60 days.

Liposomal means the spermidine trihydrochloride is combined with phospholipids from sunflower. That does not show that the capsule is absorbed better or works better than a standard tablet.

Complete guide to spermidine

What you can expect from this format What to expect

  • One capsule daily

The full label serving is in one capsule, so there is nothing to split across the day.

  • With a meal

The directions suggest taking the capsule with a meal, at any time of day.

  • A 60-day bottle

60 capsules last about two months at one capsule a day.

  • No instant-effect promise

No feeling, symptom or home test confirms that spermidine is having an effect.

Full descriptionWhat is in the bottle · Reading the label · Customer experiences

What is in the bottle

  • 60 capsules, each with 20 mg of liposomal spermidine 3HCl
  • One capsule a day, so a bottle lasts about 60 days
  • A hypromellose (HPMC) capsule shell, not gelatin

Reading the label

  • 20 mg is the whole complex. The label gives one weight for the spermidine 3HCl and the sunflower phospholipids together and does not split it.
  • 1,200 mg per bottle is 60 capsules of the 20 mg complex, not 1,200 mg of spermidine on its own.
  • Absorption. No particle-size, encapsulation or human absorption data has been published for this product, and no study has compared it with standard spermidine.
  • Same salt. Spermidine Tablets and Spermidine Pro use spermidine 3HCl too; the phospholipid and the once-a-day capsule are what differ.
  • There is no established Daily Value for spermidine.

Customer experiences

Some customers describe changes they notice, others notice nothing in particular. These experiences are not clinical evidence, and there is no proven timeline for autophagy, memory, energy or healthy-aging effects.

This is a dietary supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

No human study has compared this product with standard spermidine tablets, or shown that it is absorbed better, increases autophagy, improves memory or extends lifespan.

Where spermidine comes from, and what it does

Food and your own cells already supply some. A supplement adds a fixed daily amount.

  1. In food

    24 mg

    Your diet already has some

Wheat germ is one of the richest sources, at about 24 mg per 100 g, followed by soybeans, aged cheese and mushrooms. How much you get depends on what you eat each day.

  2. With age

Levels tend to fall over time

Your cells make spermidine as well as taking it in from food, and levels in the body tend to decline as people get older.

  3. In your cells

Part of the cell’s clean-up process

Spermidine takes part in autophagy, the process cells use to break down and recycle worn components. Most of this evidence comes from cell and animal studies; the human research is in Lab & research.

  4. Once a day

    20 mg

A measured amount on top of food

One capsule with a meal gives 20 mg of spermidine 3HCl in a sunflower phospholipid complex, the same amount whatever you eat. Liposomal Spermidine is designed to support cellular health and healthy aging.*

Food values are representative published measurements (Ali et al., 2011).

What batch testing shows, and what research can tell us

A lab report tests one finished batch for the items it lists. Published research studies spermidine in other forms, amounts and people. They are different kinds of evidence, so we keep them apart.

None of the studies below tested a liposomal form, and research has not shown that 20 mg is an optimal amount or that spermidine reverses aging or extends life. Spermidine dosage guide

In a randomized crossover study, oral spermidine raised plasma spermine but not plasma spermidine or putrescine. The authors suggest spermidine is converted before it reaches the bloodstream, so a larger oral amount does not mean proportionally more spermidine in the blood.

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of a high-purity spermidine trihydrochloride found no significant changes in clinical, lipid, chemistry or blood measures, no product-related adverse events, and little change in circulating polyamines. It did not test women, long-term use or this product, and two authors worked for the ingredient’s maker.

    Just starting

I have less inflammation, if any. This also reduces pain from inflammation.

I started taking this for cardiovascular benefits. I have noticed less swelling in my leg.

I have been on this product for about 6 months. I take this and other Neurogan products.

    Great for Sleep!

I recently ordered this product about a month ago, so it's a bit early to see any benefits just yet. However, I've noticed it's been GREAT for helping me get deeper sleep. I take it about an hour and a half before bed, and while it doesn't cause drowsiness, when I do get to sleep, it seems to be helping me get better sleep.

I'll review this again in a few more months after taking it, but I'm happy so far!

    Excellent Senolytic!

Liposomal Spermidine (Trihydrochloride, 3HCL) is an excellent senolytic that promotes autophagy and extends lifespan. I take one cap (50 mg) in the morning on an empty stomach with eight ounces of distilled water Monday to Friday.

    Amazing product.

I recommended it to close friends already. Love it.

Individual results vary. These are customer experiences, not a clinical study.

What people ask before they start

That has not been shown for this product. No published test measures its particle size, how much spermidine is encapsulated or how much reaches the blood, and no study has compared it with standard spermidine.

No. The 20 mg on the label is the whole spermidine 3HCl and sunflower phospholipid complex. The label does not state how much of it is spermidine 3HCl.

60 capsules of 20 mg each make 1,200 mg of the complex per bottle. It is not 1,200 mg of spermidine on its own.

Both use spermidine 3HCl. The liposomal capsule combines it with phospholipids from sunflower and is taken once a day; the tablets are taken twice a day and cost less per bottle. No study has shown that either works better. See the tablets

There is no established dose for spermidine supplements. Human studies have used amounts from under 1 mg to 40 mg a day of different forms, and none compared amounts to show that more works better.

Follow the label, and ask a healthcare professional if you have questions about your health or medication. Spermidine dosage guide

Any time, with a meal. Morning and evening have not been shown to make a difference.

When to take spermidine

About 60 days: 60 capsules at one a day.

There is no proven timeline. Spermidine is not a stimulant, and no sensation shows that it is working.

Spermidine supports autophagy-related activity in cells and animal studies, and a small 2026 human pilot found more autophagy-related gene activity in immune B cells at 6 mg a day. That does not show that this product increases autophagy throughout the body or leads to a particular health outcome.

Spermidine and autophagy

Yes, for microbiology. The current batch has a certificate of analysis from an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory covering microbial counts and four pathogens. It does not include a potency, heavy metal or absorption test. It is linked in Lab & research.

The capsule shell is plant-based hypromellose, wheat is not listed among the ingredients, and the active is not a wheat germ extract. If you follow a strict vegan diet, have celiac disease or a severe allergy, ask us for the full documentation before use.

It is not for anyone under 18, and should not be used during pregnancy or nursing. Talk to a healthcare professional before use if you react to sunflower, take medication, have a medical condition, are under medical care or are preparing for surgery.
