Spermidine Pro Capsules bottle lying on lilac slate beside capsules

About Spermidine Pro

Each capsule provides 50 mg of spermidine 3HCl (spermidine trihydrochloride), and each bottle holds 120 capsules. At one capsule a day, a bottle lasts about 120 days. Take it with water; food is optional.

The active ingredient is a manufactured salt of spermidine rather than a wheat germ extract, so the labeled amount is easy to identify and wheat germ is not the source.

Full descriptionWhat is in the bottle · Reading the label · Customer experiences

What is in the bottle

  • 120 capsules, each with 50 mg of spermidine 3HCl
  • One capsule a day, so a bottle lasts about 120 days
  • An HPMC capsule shell, not gelatin

Reading the label

  • 3HCl means spermidine trihydrochloride, a salt form. It is part of the chemical name, not a sign of triple strength, and the 50 mg includes the salt as well as the spermidine.
  • More is not proven better. Human research has not shown that a larger amount of supplemental spermidine brings more benefit. The closest controlled study used 40 mg a day for up to 28 days.
  • Batch result. The current batch measured 58 mg per capsule against a minimum of 50 mg; the product’s strength stays 50 mg.
  • There is no established Daily Value for spermidine.

Customer experiences

Some customers describe changes they notice, others notice nothing in particular. These experiences are not clinical evidence, and there is no proven timeline for autophagy, memory, energy or healthy-aging effects.

This is a dietary supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

This product has not been clinically tested to reverse aging, extend lifespan, improve memory or energy, or produce predictable whole-body autophagy.

Where spermidine comes from, and what it does

Food and your own cells already supply some. A supplement adds a fixed daily amount.

  1. In food

    24 mg

    Your diet already has some

Wheat germ is one of the richest sources, at about 24 mg per 100 g, followed by soybeans, aged cheese and mushrooms. How much you get depends on what you eat each day.

  2. With age

Levels tend to fall over time

Your cells make spermidine as well as taking it in from food, and levels in the body tend to decline as people get older.

  3. In your cells

Part of the cell’s clean-up process

Spermidine takes part in autophagy, the process cells use to break down and recycle worn components. Most of this evidence comes from cell and animal studies; the human research is in Lab & research.

  4. Once a day

    50 mg

A measured amount on top of food

One capsule gives 50 mg of spermidine 3HCl a day, the same amount whatever you eat. Spermidine Pro is designed to support cellular health and healthy aging.*

Food values are representative published measurements (Ali et al., 2011).

The three products differ in labeled amount, how many you take a day and how long a bottle lasts. They have not been compared in a clinical trial, so pick the one that suits you.

What batch testing shows, and what research can tell us

A lab report tests one finished batch for the items it lists. Published research studies spermidine in other forms, amounts and people. They are different kinds of evidence, so we keep them apart.

Research has not shown that 50 mg is an optimal amount, that it works better than smaller amounts, or that it reverses aging or extends life. Spermidine dosage guide

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of a high-purity spermidine trihydrochloride found no significant changes in clinical, lipid, chemistry or blood measures, no product-related adverse events, and little change in circulating polyamines. It did not test 50 mg, women, long-term use or this product, and two authors worked for the ingredient’s maker.

In a randomized crossover study, oral spermidine raised plasma spermine but not plasma spermidine or putrescine. The authors suggest spermidine is converted before it reaches the bloodstream, so a larger oral amount does not mean proportionally more spermidine in the blood.

What people ask before they start

There is no established dose for spermidine supplements. A controlled study found 40 mg a day of spermidine trihydrochloride well tolerated for up to 28 days in 37 healthy men aged 50 to 70; it did not test 50 mg a day, long-term use, women or this product.

Follow the label, and ask a healthcare professional if you have questions about your health or medication. Spermidine dosage guide

That has not been shown. No human study has compared these amounts, and a higher label strength does not by itself mean better absorption, more autophagy or greater benefit.

No. The label gives the weight of the salt form, spermidine trihydrochloride, and that weight includes the salt as well as the spermidine.

The specification is at least 50 mg of spermidine 3HCl per capsule, and the current batch measured 58 mg. That is one batch’s result; the product’s labeled strength is 50 mg.

About 120 days: 120 capsules at one capsule a day.

One capsule a day, swallowed with water. Food is optional, and any time of day works. Morning and evening have not been shown to make a difference.

When to take spermidine

There is no proven timeline. Spermidine is not a stimulant, and no sensation shows that it is working.

Spermidine supports autophagy-related activity in cells and animal studies, and a small 2026 human pilot found more autophagy-related gene activity in immune B cells at 6 mg a day. That does not show that this product increases autophagy throughout the body or leads to a particular health outcome.

Spermidine and autophagy

Yes. The current batch has a certificate of analysis from an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory, covering spermidine 3HCl potency (measured by HPLC), four heavy metals and microbiological tests. It is linked in Lab results.

The capsule shell is HPMC rather than gelatin, wheat is not listed among the ingredients, and the active is not a wheat germ extract. If you have celiac disease or a severe allergy, ask us for the full allergen documentation before use.

No study has tested spermidine, NMN and resveratrol as a stack. If you combine several supplements or take prescription medication, have your full routine reviewed by a healthcare professional.

It is not for anyone under 18, and should not be used during pregnancy or nursing. Talk to a healthcare professional before use if you take medication, have a medical condition, are under medical care or are preparing for surgery.
