About our certifications
What does GMP Process Certified mean?
Eurofins assesses the manufacturing process against the applicable GMP requirements. The certificate identifies the facility, standard, and scope.
Does Eurofins certify each supplement?
No. This is process certification. It does not certify any individual supplement, ingredient, or product, and it is not a claim about a product’s effectiveness.
How is certification maintained?
Eurofins requires periodic re-evaluation: annually or at the frequency defined by the applicable scheme.
How is this different from a lab test?
A lab test reports results for a specific sample and the tests performed on it. GMP process certification assesses the manufacturing process within its stated scope. The two provide different kinds of information.
